Allies Working Against Displacement
Workshop in East Austin

Community members in East Austin are coming together Sunday afternoon from 4-7pm at Space12 to talk about issues facing the East Austin community. This workshop is geared specifically at working through issues of communication, outreach, sensitivity and political impact in East Austin.

Click here for a handout from the last meeting. Read it over and try to think of a specific example where you have trouble navigating in relation to gentrification. Also think of a separate or combined example where you have successfully dealt with difficulties concerning gentrification.
